Pescara. Final appointment for the project “Itinerario gastronomico y cultural en la Nàpoles de los Borbones” which sees the collaboration of the Aterno-Manthoné Institute and the Comprehensive Institute 8 of Pescara.

In a festive atmosphere, the students of classes 3E, 3F and 3H of Aterno-Manthoné, led by the teachers Silvana Britti And Rita Petacciamet the students of 2A and 2F of the Tinozzi middle school, coordinated by the teacher Santa Di Lorito.

After having shared, in previous meetings, the re-elaboration of the research on the cultural traditions of the Spanish Comunidades and the typical recipes of the Bourbon court in Naples and the full-day excursion in the Neapolitan city with a Spanish-speaking guide, the race, on the of the TV show Masterchef, was the perfect conclusion to the project.

The pupils of the two schools, divided into five teams, tried their hand at preparing a typical Spanish recipe, el salmorejo (a cold soup made with tomatoes, bread, garlic and olive oil), following the instructions in Spanish for the execution and plating.

All this to help students master the Spanish language as well as for communicative purposes, especially to interact in different contexts and areas of culture and life.
