Pescara. For the third consecutive year, the LND Abruzzo Regional Committee will close the regional amateur football season with a gala evening in which president Concezio Memmo and his Board of Directors will celebrate all the protagonists of the 2023/2024 sports season.
This year, the location of the annual “Gran Galà of Abruzzo football” will be Pescara, where the Presidents will meet at the Flaiano Auditorium on Friday 21 June at 9pm, together with the regional and national leaders of the FIGC and the National Amateur League. of companies. Also present at this end of the season were the LND president, Giancarlo Abete, and the FIGC vice president, Daniele Ortolano.
A year of emotions, challenges, great joys and disappointments, victories achieved or just missed. For everyone, however, the time has come to meet to say goodbye and to reap the fruits of this long sporting year that is coming to an end. And the Regional Committee, again this year, is ready to give its clubs a unique evening of sharing, participation and friendship, the values that have always characterized the idea of amateur football of President Memmo and his Council Director, as well as of the entire KJV world.
“The time has come again this year to say goodbye to our clubs at the end of the sports season. With the Grand Gala we take the opportunity to celebrate those who have won and achieved brilliant results, but not only that: this is an opportunity to demonstrate once again our gratitude to the true protagonists of the world of amateur football, who enliven the Sundays with passion and commitment on our fields, promoting sport and its healthier values. In Pescara, the venue of this third Grand Gala, we will have the opportunity to spend a splendid evening with the Presidents and managers of our companies, as has already happened in the previous two editions”, states the president of the LND Abruzzo Regional Committee, Concezio Memmo.
Among the prizes that will be awarded on Friday evening, there are also the prizes named after “Pierluigi Di Berardino”, historic director of the Regional Committee, created to celebrate Abruzzo which stands out on the national scene:
