Novara – He comes from Argentina and comes to Novara with a great desire to do, above all to demonstrate his value on the pitch for the next, very difficult, season which will see us involved in the A1 championship. Wanted by Mr. Punset, here is Marcos Vega. He is 20 years old (he was born on 7 October 2003), but he has been in Italy for a couple of seasons, first at ASD Hockey Montecchio Precalcino then at Valdagno. Now he is ready for this adventure which will certainly see him as the protagonist at the Pala Dal Lago.
Hi Marco, tell your new fans: what type of player are you? “I’m a player who likes to play close to the goal; I like scoring goals and helping the team play whether we have the ball or not. My passion is solely and exclusively for hockey: it’s what I’ve done since I was little and I love it!”
Why did you choose to embrace the Azzurra Novara project? “I chose Novara because I see a great desire to do well and have a good season; I see sincere people and a good environment. And then for me Novara is clearly one of the hockey capitals in the world!”
Who do you know on the team? “I know Fede Ortiz very well, with whom I played in the same team, San Juan, and I even had the pleasure and honor of having him as a youth coach for a year“.
What do you expect from the 2024-25 season in Azzurra? “I expect a year of growth both personally and as a player. I want to give it my all and I can’t wait to get started!”
What do you feel like promising the fans and the club? “Above all, I feel like saying that we will certainly give everything to do the best we can in every match, never sparing ourselves!”
When will we have the opportunity to welcome you to Novara? “I will certainly be there at the team meeting in early September, to start the season in the best possible way. It will be an opportunity to get to know each other better“.
