Florence, extraordinary opening of the Boboli Gardens on 24 June

Florence, 22 June 2024 – Every Tuesdayuntil December 17th, the Gallery of Statues and Paintings will remain accessible to evening, offering visitors the magical experience of art masterpieces to be admired in the sunset light. On these occasions the opening hours of the museum will be extended from 6.30pm (ordinary closing time) to 10pm (with last entry allowed at 8.30pm). Closing operations of the Gallery will begin at 9.30 pm. In addition to the special evening openings on Tuesdays, there will also be other extraordinary openings scheduled for Mondays, ordinarily the weekly closing day of the Galleries: the initiative will concern the Uffizi and Boboli’s Garden, which will be open during normal hours also on the 24th June (festival of San Giovanni, patron saint of Florence) and 30 December.

From May onwards you will be able to enter the museum simply by showing a QR Code on your mobile phone. Anyone who books entry through the call center (055/294883) or through our website (Uffizi/tickets) will receive a code via email to download directly onto their smartphone which will constitute the entrance ticket to the museum without having to show the physical ticket . For tickets purchased in advance, the current rules for their validation will continue to apply until the new system comes into force. Boboli Gardens: extraordinary openings on Mondays. More days are coming to visit the Boboli Gardens in the summer. From Monday 27 May and throughout July it is also possible to visit the park on the first and last Monday of the month (normally weekly closing days) with the usual ordinary access fees. Here are the dates: 24 June from 8.15am to 7.10pm, 1 July and 29 July from 8.15am to 7.10pm. The last entry to the Boboli Gardens and therefore the closing of the ticket office is always one hour before closing.
