Through the report provided by Cgia Mestre, it can be seen that the total number of taxpayers in Italy is just over 42 million. But here is the ranking of the Sicilian cities of Irpef taxpayers, by province: on the podium, in first place we find Palermo, placed in 12th place in the Italian ranking with a total number of 693,290 taxpayers. Following, in 20th place, we find Catania, with 613,793 taxpayers. In last position on the Sicilian podium, and in 33rd place in the national ranking, we find Messina, with a total of 389,451 taxpayers.
At the center of the Sicilian ranking by province we find Trapani, Agrigento and Siracusa, respectively in 56th, 60th and 65th place in the national ranking, which total a number of taxpayers equal to 262,135 Trapani, 251,241 Agrigento and 235,461 Siracusa. In the last three positions we find Ragusa, Caltanissetta and Enna. The former is placed in 76th place in the national ranking, Caltanissetta in 91st while finishing up we find Enna in 103rd place. At the bottom of the ranking are the provinces of Ragusa (total 206,912 taxpayers), Caltanissetta (150,788) and finally Enna (98,774).
