In the session of 27 June of the Council Commission Land use planning of the Municipality of Taranto the Vice President Michele Patano asked to hear Eng. in the next session. Simona SassoDirector of the Urban Planning and Special Projects Department, to find out what organization the Municipality of Taranto is preparing to provide information and accept questions from citizens who intend to take advantage of the “Save the home decree 2024” which contains new simplification measures to encourage the regularization of “slight building defects”.
«I remind you that the objective of the decree – explained Councilor Michele Patano – is to “free” the apartments held hostage by a rigid and fragmented legislation which hinders their marketability and sometimes precludes access to loans, subsidies and contributions. It is not a pardon, therefore, but a decree that intervenes only in less serious cases, affecting the so-called minor building irregularities which often prevent owners from selling their home.”
«Even if the decree has not been converted into State Law – Michele Patano then underlined – it has already entered into force on May 30th. For this reason it is important that the Municipality of Taranto make it as easy as possible for all citizens who intend to take advantage of this important opportunity!”
