PERUGIA – The “Futuro al Centro” project was presented in Rome, which sees eight universities in Central Italy – including that of Perugia – united for the first time, with the aim of responding to young students seeking prospects of professional and human fulfillment.

A joint valorization initiative, promoted by the University of L’Aquila, the University of Camerino, the University of D’Annunzio Chieti-Pescara, the University of Macerata, the University of of Perugia, from the Polytechnic University of Marche, from the University of Teramo, from the University of Urbino Carlo Bo and presented by the respective magnificent rectors and general directors to illustrate the training offer, sharing resources and know-how -how.
An opportunity to highlight the thousand possible opportunities, including international projects, experiences abroad, services and benefits, activities linked to the territory, post-graduate courses and numerous relationships with the world of organizations and businesses .

“Futuro al Centro” is therefore a concrete opportunity to come into contact with universities that have always demonstrated great attractiveness over the years. Demonstration of what they are but also an integral part of territories suitable for students. “Growing up” in Abruzzo, Marche and Umbria means “living” among modern cities, historic centers steeped in art, seaside resorts and natural landscapes, with excellent living conditions and job opportunities that can be achieved, contributing to the development of this part of Italy characterized by micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. The first stage of this journey will be a shared communication and promotion campaign on a national scale, not only in the university regions but also in Milan, Turin, Rome and Naples.

«It is with great enthusiasm that we officially announce the birth of the “Futuro al Centro” project – the words of the magnificent rector of the Perugian university Maurizio Oliviero – It is an unprecedented initiative, which represents a concrete and shared response to the needs of female students and of students looking for real training and career opportunities, but also for a high quality of life. For the first time, several prestigious universities combine their resources and skills, overcoming the traditional dynamics of competition to promote an excellent educational offer under a common brand. Our objective is twofold: to enhance the participating universities and the territories that host them. Umbria, Abruzzo and Marche are, in fact, not only places of study, but also of work and life. Studying, working and living in these regions means not only receiving a high-quality education in a context characterized by high liveability, but also having the opportunity to work in an economic fabric deeply linked to the territory and characterized by micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, even highly specialized ones, which can offer significant professional opportunities. We are convinced that “Futuro al Centro” is not just a project, but a real movement towards a shared future, where the universities of Central Italy can continue to work together to offer young people a better education, life and opportunities. United, we can really make a difference.”
