After the Councilor of Fratelli d’Italia increased the IMU by 1 million and 200 thousand euros, bringing the rate to the maximum allowed by law, increased the rates of paid parking, going from 80 cents to 1 euro per now, now they claim to influence us, through the vile practice of lies and defamation, hoping to gain our votes to increase the TARI by over 1 million euros. Likewise, they would like us to vote on a budget change resolution which provides for social security reimbursements for their councilor on leave who, in addition to receiving 4 thousand euros a month, also costs the municipality the reimbursement of social security costs, also asking us to vote for increase the sums of travel reimbursements for councilors, as if the monthly salary received by them was not enough.
We believe that putting your hands in the pockets of the people of Barletta for over 2 million and 600 thousand euros is immoral, especially when it is not possible to guarantee asphalted roads, children’s playgrounds and urban decor. They think that managing an important city like Barletta is solely about spending money to organize concerts, which are 99% paid and financed by the Municipality. We are different, we think differently and for them, who evidently do not accept the thoughts of others, this is a fault to be paid for with slander, lies and defamation.
We, however, have learned that to govern a city we need harmony, rigor and sharing, not division, hatred and lies.
Then allow us to reflect: how can we talk about disagreements with the Democratic Party, just because we love to openly confront members of the opposition, while they share seats with centre-left regional and municipal councillors? Come on, be honest, at least when you talk to the city.
