After trains, buses have also been cancelled. SOS Cremona-Treviglio line. Trenord: “There are no transports”

Incredible but true. Next week, from Monday to Friday, the replacement buses from Crema, which were supposed to make up for the lack of train circulation due to works on the Cremona-Treviglio railway line, will not make any trips. The motivation is incredible, considering that it had been known for weeks that the line would not be practicable until the end of the month: “Due to the unavailability of the vehicles on the part of the service provider – states the Trenord website – which will resume on 1 ° July, with trains regularly on the line”.

Yet buses instead of trains should have been guaranteed from 9 to 30 June, due to impassability on the Cremona-Crema-Treviglio-Milan line. In particular, the trips departing at 5.06, 5.50, 6.02, 6.59, 7.59, 16.59 from Crema and at 17.37, 18.37 and 19.37 from Treviglio will be cancelled.

For the umpteenth time, therefore, despite the increases in the cost of tickets, commuters from Crema will experience another week of poor service, in defiance of the reassurances that came out of the institutional table held in the Region a few days ago and which had satisfied the mayors of Crema present at the meeting as well as the three regional councilors of our province, despite – in addition to the promises – nothing concrete had arrived: the direct Crema-Milan train in fact remains a hypothesis, the delays are always the same, the faults at the level crossings will continue to be there, the light rail remains in the field of the most futuristic hypotheses and not even a word about the Paullese. Meanwhile, to reach work, commuters just have to wear comfortable shoes or pedal.
