Two days in great secrecy. Today and tomorrow, in the greenery of southern Tuscany. The news spread wildly in many online magazines, not only about music: that of a “secret” festival by the great producer Rick Rubin, the creator of sounds and ideas of sacred monsters such as Johnny Cash and Metallica, Danzig, Slayer and Slipknot, Mick Jagger and Tom Petty, AC/DC, Aerosmith and Red Hot Chili Peppers, but also Linkin Park, System of a Down, Shakira and Adele. Among others, Bob Dylan, U2 and Pearl Jam have passed through his studio in California.
The chosen region is Tuscany, the place Casole d’Elsa, in the province of Siena, already good retreat by guru Rubin. According to the organizers, the festival intends to celebrate the summer solstice, which, in fact, occurs on June 20th.
There are still many secrets on the line up. But Lorenzo was seen and photographed on site Jovanotti Cherubini, and we talk about Levante and Representative of the list (the latter to be confirmed). The certainty concerns the performance times: Friday from 4.30pm to 8pm, closing on Saturday 22 June. On the rather sparse website – festivalofthesun.org – it is clear that it will be a “celebration of the summer solstice in the ancient village of Casole d’Elsa, music, art, cinema and culture”.
Even the world of cinema didn’t wait long: today they were spotted in Casole Fiammetta Cicogna, Riccardo Scamarcio and Benedetta Porcaroli. And a long queue of people was created in front of the event location.
