Vanoli, his coaching career: from Domegliara to Serie A with Venezia

From trainer, Vanoli began his career in the Veronese team Domegliara, in Serie D, from 2007 to 2009. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2017 he was part of the FIGC technical staff where he worked with various youth selections (in 2013 as Zoratto’s deputy he achieved second place at the Under 17 European Championships) while in 2016 he led the Under 19 team to second place in Europe. He also served as assistant to coach Gian Piero Ventura in his first year with the senior national team. He was later a technical collaborator of Antonio Conte, first at Chelsea (with the victory of the FA Cup) and then at Inter (finalist in the Europa League and then Champion of Italy in the 2020-2021 season). In 2021 he took on his first coaching job at a professional club, in Russia, at Spartak Moscow, winning the Russian Cup. In 2022 he joined Venezia where in two seasons he led the lagoon players from the penultimate place in Serie B to the recent conquest of Serie A.
