The calendar with related dates and dynamics of intervention was published today, Friday 21 June 2024, which concerns adulticidal disinfestation interventions of nuisance winged insects with products regularly registered with the Ministry of Health. In the intervention program, all the neighborhoods of Guidonia are listed except one. It’s about Villalba of Guidoniawhich however is not mentioned among the hamlets affected by the service which cost the Municipality 55 thousand euros.
An oversight? Or maybe not. The complaints of some citizens and the reporting of our editorial staff led to a further statement. However, a correction that does not resolve the problem, on the contrary, creates further questions. The press release states that: “It is considered useful to highlight that the nocturnal interventions indicated in the advertised calendar concern adulticidal disinfestation. The larvicidal interventions in the manholes, which do not involve aerial suspension of products, will be carried out in all the hamlets of the City of Guidonia Montecelio”. Therefore, in light of the update, the Adulticidal disinfestation interventions, underlined in red in the statement, will concern all the neighborhoods except Villalba, which however, like all the other hamlets, will benefit from larvicidal interventions in the manholes. Why? At the moment the question of many citizens is not answered by the institutions. Updates are awaited.
