As2 and Cer, how to give energy to sharing

ROVIGO – A public meeting to enter the world of Cers. On Thursday 20 June As2 organized a conference on Renewable Energy Communities in the council room of the Venice-Rovigo Chamber of Commerce.

The President of the Board of Directors of the instrumental services company delivered the greeting at the opening of the meeting Caterina Furfari spoke of “a new challenge for Polesine to be faced in a synergistic perspective starting from the bottom with the aim of obtaining positive effects for the community. Today it is necessary to diversify the sources of supply to guarantee the security and energy autonomy of the country – he noted -, with As2 applying for technical-administrative support in favor of its members in pursuing this new path for a more equitable energy future , resilient and sustainable”.

The president of the Province of Rovigo echoed her Enrico Ferrarese who relaunched the role of Palazzo Celio, a body that wants to be a link on information and awareness: “We intend to once again become the bearers of coordination requests which are more necessary than ever since we are already the ‘House of Commons'”, its words. Then, Alessandro Massarente, from the Laboratory for the development of integrated design services for the city, the environment and the landscape of the UniFe Architecture department, noted how the topic of Cers has now entered the research path of the universities where they study energy-good sharing models.

Following, six different technical interventions divided into two sessions: to open the series Giuseppe Emmi, Researcher of the project cultures department of the Iuav University of Venice, who dealt with the regulatory framework by offering schematic examples on the operating principles of the Cer and placing emphasis on the social approach and the non-speculative nature of Energy Communities. With Giacomo Bizzarri, professor of environmental technical physics at the UniFe architecture faculty, got into the concrete with the analysis of three operational cases in Rolo (RE), Cesena and Angiari (VR), while Samuele Branchetti, of the Cross- Tec of the Enea Tecnopolo of Bologna focused his report on self-consumption, energy self-sufficiency and shared energy by analyzing examples of domestic but also more structured situations such as the Cer of Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD); To close the first part, Marina Bertolini, from the Levi Cases study center in Padua, framed the issue from the point of view of the actors involved, entering into the economic-financial and sustainability framework with an analysis of costs and benefits.

To close, Riccardo Ruggero of As2 has relaunched the role of the instrumental services company which in the field of Energy Communities can and intends to have a central role in the design and management of data, being able to collect them in real time providing predictive analysis, allowing optimization of resources and ensuring data protection and privacy (cyber security) with a view to sustainability and innovation to implement the Cers in the territorial context.
