The Farmer’s Market meets in Nerviano with zero kilometer products

The Nerviano Farmer’s Market will return to Piazza Chiesa Colorina on Sunday 23 June. Between 9 and 13 local street vendors will take their places with zero kilometer products. The Farmers’ Market was born from the collaboration between Slow Food Legnano and the Municipality of Nerviano following the example of the Farmers’ Markets of Cantalupo, San Giorgio su Legnano, Villa Cortese, Legnano and Busto Arsizio

«The initiative consists of a market of local agricultural products scheduled for every fourth Sunday of the month in Piazza Chiesa Colorina – explain the organizers -. You will be able to purchase seasonal products directly from the producers who will display the many goodies produced locally. In the market you will find products such as cured meats, bread and sweets, honey, cheeses, wine, oil, beer, rice and other food products such as flours, vegetables and seasonal fruit. The Farmer’s Market is a great opportunity to meet producers who have decided not to be involved in large-scale distribution and to be able to communicate with the end user to share alternative proposals for food distribution through the monthly farmers’ markets”.

The producers present also participate in the markets of Villa Cortese (first Saturday of the month in Piazza Della Quercia), of Cantalupo (first Sunday of the month in Piazza Don Carlo Bianchi), of Legnano (second Sunday of the month in Piazza Mercato), of San Giorgio in Legnano (third Saturday of the month in Piazza Mazzini) and in Busto Arsizio (third Sunday of the month in Comerio Park).
