Not just hashish. At home she also had doses of Shaboo, a powerful methamphetamine, a synthetic drug whose consumption is increasingly widespread in Italy too.
For this reason, a 31-year-old Filipino was arrested by police officers from the Udine police station on the evening of Friday 14 June, after being stopped not far from the reception center set up in the former Cavarzerani barracks in via Cividale.
After the arrest, validated by the judge for preliminary investigations, the man was subjected to the precautionary measure of the obligation to reside in the province of Udine with the obligation to sign on a daily basis.
During the checks that the patrol cars carry out daily inside and outside the Cavarzerani, the officers noticed a couple of young people who, with a suspicious attitude, were moving away from one of the perimeter walls of the structure.
Stopped in a nearby street, one of the two young men was particularly nervous during the identification. The officers, suspicious of this attitude and the strong smell of drugs, searched the young man, who actually had two blocks of hashish (210 grams), a brass knuckles and a can of capsicum (chili pepper) spray on him.
At his home the police then found another block of hashish, weighing almost 100 grams, as well as some doses of Shaboo, a powerful amphetamine produced in Asia, especially in Thailand and the Philippines, which causes serious damage to the central nervous system since since his first hire.
A few hours later, the police seized another 213 grams of hashish, found on the person of a forty-four-year-old Pakistani asylum seeker, stopped in via Calatafimi, an area that the police know as normally frequented by drug users. Taken to the police station and searched, the man had two blocks of drugs with a total weight of 213 grams. For this reason he was arrested: the investigating judge then validated the arrest and ordered his precautionary custody in prison.
