In response to the announcement of the Catanzaro provincial section of the League regarding the establishment of a delegation for the next local elections in Lamezia Terme, as councilors of the Salvini Premier council group of the city of Lamezia Terme we feel the duty to clarify our position.
We would have gladly done without wasting time on such a hot day responding to amateurs in the lurch just looking for a bit of visibility in the press.
As councilors we are committed every day to carrying forward the requests of the citizens of Lamezia in the appropriate places, in organizing training events, in making the party grow by bringing together people and supporters, following many young people who are approaching our party.
As the only representatives of the Lega party in the Lamezzo municipal council, we feel the duty to distance ourselves from such subjects who are not recognized in the city in which they claim to intervene.
We find the attempts to impose the drafting of the administrative program of our municipality by individuals who have no connection with our militant community unacceptable and ridiculous.

We met with the only parliamentarian of our city, the Hon. Domenico Furgiuele, founder of the Calabrian League, guide and our point of reference, who in agreement with the regional and national leaders of the party totally ignores this initiative.
Furthermore, Furgiuele reiterated to us that the administrative issue of the city of Lamezia Terme is a topic that is being discussed in the appropriate forums and in agreement with the Minister Matteo Salvini.
We reiterate our commitment to working for the good of Lamezia Terme, legitimately representing the interests of our citizens.
As Lega Lamezia we will continue to work with determination and coherence, collaborating with the figures recognized and legitimized by our community, ensuring that every decision is made in full respect of local dynamics.
