“For a community, having children and fully investing in their support remains the best investment as it will never be lost.” It is with this phrase that the President Charles Tchameni Tchienga of the non-profit organization Il Terzo Mondo ODV of Ravenna wanted to publicly thank the Giorgio SanSavini association chaired by Riccardo Brandino and the entire board of directors, the collaborators Alberto Ceroni and Silvana Oggioni of Alma Sport Service and everyone the supporters and sponsors for the financial support for the numerous boys and girls from poor families in Ravenna who attended the Smile Help Desk in Via Grado during the 2023/2024 school year.
“From September 2023 to June 2024, 40 boys and girls from Ravenna families who attend the Sportello carried out a free sporting activity paid for by the Giorgio SanSavini association, for a total sum of €13,500. A sum that covered the entire quota of the sporting activity freely chosen by each child – explains the president of Il Terzo Mondo -. The age range of the children ranged from 6 to 17 years, while the sports activities chosen were football, volleyball, basketball, dance, tennis and swimming”.
“I would like to thank the Giorgio SanSavini association again, through its President Riccardo Brandino and without distinction all the collaborators, members of the board of directors, supporters and sponsors for this great and important generous commitment undertaken for three years towards our organization – continues Tchienga –. Without your professionalism and your precious collaboration we would never have been able to give these children the opportunity to carry out a sporting activity while giving them an infinite smile.
