Yesterday’s sensations are now certainties. As anticipated, Carpi has decided not to reconfirm sporting director Riccardo Motta, who was presented to the Sporting Club on May 31st a year ago.

Motta left an indelible mark on Carpi’s season of promotion to Serie C, from the high-profile summer transfer market, through to managing the group in difficult times, with a total symbiosis with Mr. Serpini which was one of the secrets of the feat. “Thank you. Thank you for the opportunity that President Claudio Lazzaretti decided to give me at the end of last season to get to together with a much desired goal. We wrote history all together. Since yesterday therefore the casting for the sporting director has continued with Bernardi, Serafini and Bedin in pole position.
