On the occasion of the ballot for the direct election of the Mayor, the Municipality of Caltanissetta transmits useful information to the members of the section offices.
As provided for in article 10 of lrn7/92, for the second round of voting (ballot) the composition of the electoral offices remains unchanged from that established on 10 June 2024,
without prejudice, obviously, to any replacements that may become necessary.
The calendar of preliminary activities and constitution of seats is as follows:
SATURDAY 22 JUNE 2024
In the afternoon hours (3.30pm – 4.00pm) the Mayors deliver to the presidents of the polling stations the material needed for voting (art. 16 of the Consolidated Law approved with DP Reg. 20 August 1960, no. 3 ), as well as the lists of inpatient voters, of prisoners who have obtained authorization to vote in places of treatment or detention and of voters suffering from serious illnesses admitted to vote at home (art. 34 of the TU approved with DP Reg. 20 August 1960, n. 3, articles 8 and 9, law 23 April 1976, n amendments, by law 27 January 2006, n. 22 and following mm.
CONSTITUTION OF ELECTORAL LOCATIONS AND VOTING OPERATIONS
AT 6:00 AM ON SUNDAY 23 JUNE 2024: Establishment of polling stations and preliminary operations for voting (art.31 of the Consolidated Law approved with DP Reg. 20 August 1960, n. 3).
Therefore the scrutineers and the President must present themselves at the polling station no later than 5.45am on Sunday 23/06/2024
FROM 07:00 TO 23:00 ON SUNDAY 23 JUNE 2024: voting operations (art. 10 lrn 7/92, Legislative Decree 12 December 2022, n. 190 converted into Law 27 January 2023, n.7, art. 2 lr 10 July 2015, n. 12).
FROM 07:00 TO 15:00 ON MONDAY 24 JUNE 2024: voting operations (art. 10 lrn 7/92, Legislative Decree 12 December 2022, n. 190 converted into Law 27 January 2023, n.7, art. 2 lr 10 July 2015, n. 12).
Once the activities and operations of voting and matching of data and voters have been completed, the section electoral office proceeds with the counting for the election of the mayor (articles 36, 43 and 48 of the TU approved with DP Reg. 20 August 1960 , n. 3, art. 10, first paragraph, lrn 7/92).
