Another bench is defined among the opponents of Cosenza. The Cesena chooses Michele Mignani, who in recent days had also been linked to the rossoblu. Below is the note from the Romagna club:
Cesena FC communicates that he has entrusted it to Michele Mignani the position of first team coach. The coach has signed an agreement that will tie him to the Juventus club from 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2026.
Born in 1972 and with a past as a defender, Mignani he took his first steps as a coach in Siena’s youth team, and then became a technical collaborator first with Beretta and then with Breda at Latina in the 2014/15 season. His first experience on the bench came with Olbia in Serie D, then in 2017 he returned to Siena, managing the first team, in Serie C. After having coached Modena from 2019 to 2021, in the 2021 season/ 22 becomes the coach of Bari and immediately takes them to Serie B. Confirmed the following season, he comes one step away from promotion to Serie A. After starting the third consecutive championship with the red and whites, in April 2024 he becomes the coach of Palermo with whom he reached the play-offs.
