PISA – “The PD claims victory too soon. In Tuscany there are historic and not to be taken for granted ballots, a sign that the centre-right is consolidating and becoming the true government alternative”. This is stated by the Hon. Erica Mazzetti, Tuscan deputy of Forza Italia and member of the VIII Environment Commission, who explains: “Not only Florence but also municipalities that had always been considered by the party-system only as reservoirs of votes, such as Pontedera and San Miniato in the province of Pisa, municipalities that I have visited and which have many unresolved problems, starting with the waste issue and the illegal disposal of waste.”

“It is not surprising – notes the Italian exponent – that the tannery territory, abandoned after the Keu case, a case which I rightly brought to the Environment Commission given the ‘poisonous plot’ that emerged, has turned against the PD, as the Roberto Giannoni’s first round victory in Santa Croce. There is a strong need for transparency and discontinuity that only the centre-right guarantees”. “I want to assure – adds Mazzetti – that we will work to protect the leather district, also at a government level, with the competent Ministry, damaged as a whole by the investigations”.
