ROVIGO – It is Carla Destro the new Health Director of the Polesana Local Health Authority 5appointed by the General Director Pietro Girardi.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery, he specialized in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, Geriatrics and Gerontology. Carla Destro was a Cnrr researcher in the field of research and study for the development of models and services dedicated to chronic conditions and the elderly population. In fact, she participated as coordinator in the national and regional registers on femur fractures and mild dementia, thus developing transversal skills useful for an overall vision of social and health needs.
Subsequently, he held the position of Medical Directorfrom 2004 to 2013, at the Medical Management of the Padua Hospital. From 2013 to 2018 he worked as medical director at the Piove di Sacco Hospital, and at the same time risk manager of the Padua Local Health Authority.
Until 2020, he oversaw, as Medical Director, the implementation of the IOV at the Castelfranco Veneto headquarters. From 2020 to today he has held the role of Director of the Complex Operational Unit of Hospital Medical Management of the Polesana Local Health Authority 5, and corporate risk manager. She has a wealth of journalistic and research activity and participation as a speaker at conferences, seminars and national congresses.
