As already rumored in recent weeks, Iffe Lundberg will not continue the experience with the Virtus Segafredo Bologna. With his contract expiring at the end of June, the Dane chose to leave the club after two years at Juventus and to accept the two-year offer of Partizan Belgrade, tying up until June 2026 with coach Zeljko Obradovic’s team. Lundberg greeted and thanked the club and fans with a post published on his Instagram profile.

Arriving two years ago following an exodus from CSKA Moscow, Lundberg had ended up on the fringes of the team in the final part of the Scariolo era but had opposed the sale in the last summer transfer window, having still had one year left on his contract. Mentally recovered by coach Luca Banchi, he covered a role of great importance in the recently concluded year, holding Averaged 9.4 points in 35 Euroleague games.

The farewell to Lundberg will however be buffered by an important movement entering the perimeter. According to the latest rumorsBologna is reportedly evaluating the profiles of Jordan Lloyd, who however experienced a complex season due to physical problems, and of Luca Vildozaleaving Panathinaikos after the arrival of Lorenzo Brown in the green and white.
