“Values and value in the care of the elderly” – Presentation
Uneba Nazionale in collaboration with Uneba Veneto and the National Commission for the Elderly, proposes this Conference as an opportunity to reflect on the reality in which service organizations for vulnerable people operate today, with particular reference to non-profit organizations of Christian origin.
More than others, Uneba bodies today have the duty to search and find the right balance between sustainability and ethicsbetween economics and ethics to guarantee the right of access to care by involving all the actors of the network, from the institutional decision makers, for the competence and responsibility that, at every level, they exercise in the planning of the Health Systems up to the individual operators who make concrete , in the territories, the political choices.
The conference proposes a careful analysis of the present moment in which services for frail elderly people operate, addressing the various issues both on a regulatory level and on that of the data emerging from the Observatories and on an experiential level.
This is for the purpose of actively contribute to the political action of the Government and the Regions and to identify possible paths to give continuity and hope to the Care of Frailties.
