From the magical eighties to today: Raf excites different generations
GUGLIONESI. The stage lights come on and Castellara is a crowd bath. His voice is unmistakable, it is light and takes everyone back in time.
“He’s a poet, he was engaging. We all went back to being teenagers, to our first crushes with his love songs, but also to our first dances in the disco with Self control” many say.
Last night Guglionesi rewound the cassette tape thanks to the presence of Raf, who was able to win over the audience who sang all his songs at the top of their lungs.
From “Il battito animale”, through “Due”, “Stai con me” and the fortieth-year-old “Self control”.
An avalanche of switched-on cell phones, thousands of arms raised to the sky doing a wave, to his most beautiful songs.
Totally white and with his inseparable hat, Raf, born Raffaele Riefoli, never fades. Just like his songs never fade.
Over 5,000 people flocked to Guglionesi since the afternoon. At 7:00 pm, someone took the place under the stage, and never left it again.
Civil Protection, with the Provenza Volunteer Organization and Aisa Italian Environmental Safety Association Campomarino and the Carabinieri guaranteed safety during the concert.
And for the first time in the history of concerts for the patronal feast, passes for entry to Castellara were distributed.
