The Head of the Electoral Service Coordination Office, Dr. Angela Maria Digesu, has issued a note relating to the free shipping service which will be activated by the Municipality of Caltanissetta on the occasion of the administrative vote of June 23rd and 24th in favor of voters with difficulty or inability to walk.
This service, organized in collaboration with ANCoS APS and already paid in conjunction with the European elections and the first round of administrative consultations, will also be confirmed for the run-off for the election of the Mayor of Caltanissetta to facilitate reaching the seats to which they belong.
A minibus will be equipped with a lifting platform to allow access disabled people in wheelchairs. The service will also be guaranteed to voters with walking difficulties, such as elderly people or other subjects with temporary or reduced walking ability.
To access free transport you must have a medical certificate issued by the family doctor certifying the voter’s difficulty in walking independently, without further specification. In fact, certification must not indicate any pathology.
