Broad political discussion and organizational decisions were the salient moments of the meeting of the extended board of the League of Catanzaro which took place last night. After a detailed post-European election analysis and on the result obtained in Calabria which saw Salvini’s Party launched towards growing roots in the territory, the discussion focused on how to organize the next municipal elections in Lamezia Terme. The reports of the provincial secretary Giuseppe Folino and the regional manager of the Environment department, Pino Macrì, provided ample food for thought on which the interventions of the managers and members present were recorded. Particular praise was addressed to two leading figures for the “Europeanist” result: the Hon. Simona Loizzo and Filippo Mancuso, president of the Regional Council.
Among the decisions taken, therefore, the most important is the establishment of a coordination – a sort of control room – to work on the Lamezia municipal elections. The Provincial League – it has been stated – will involve all the forces active in the territory to optimize its presence in that territory.
The meeting of the Catanzaro board of directors also committed everyone to giving impetus to the membership phase.
