Arezzo, 12 June 2024 – Fondazione Arezzo Wave Italia is pleased to announce the start of the musical summer of Arezzo Wave 2024. After the success of “Poti on foot” (in collaboration with Calcit, free foot association, Arezzo running and aggregation center of Villa Severi) on Sunday 9 June, an event that combined music with a healthy lifestyle with the rediscovery and valorisation of the paths of the sacred mountain of the Arezzo people through a walk and a competitive 8 kilometer run, opens the dances for a season full of unmissable musical events.
THEJune 13th marks the beginning of “Arezzowave Summer” music season with the provincial final of Arezzo Wave Music School. In the garden of meetings and ideas of the Liceo Artistico Piero della Francesca in Arezzo, the best artists from middle and high schools will compete on stage to win the title of best band of the 2023-2024 school year. On stage, Blackloud & Liuga, Cuete CTM, Rude and Mike & Jake, closing as guests and first group of the Arezzowave Toscana selections, from Montevarchi, I Mezzanotte.
The evening is organized thanks to the support of the Provincial School office of Arezzo and the Pier della Francesca Artistic and Scientific High School of Arezzo
On June 14th, again in the garden of meetings and ideas of the Piero della Francesca Art School in Arezzo, the long-awaited event of the Arezzo provincial final of Arezzo Wave Contest 2024 will be held, with Autovelox, Scoville, Brina, Palaco and Karma
On June 15th in Cavriglia, in the splendid setting of Bello Sguardo, the Tuscan regional selections of Arezzowave contest 2024 will continue
on stage the OTB Pianeta, Violet, Camilla Vu, Engeezo & G.Nicastro, and Litio.
On June 29th the last date of Arezzowave Toscana selections, again in Cavriglia, again in the Bellosguardo Amphitheater with 81DB, Lapsus, Beta Libre & Rick Landi, HSO, Panda Pakse
On July 4th, a live television broadcast on the new Arezzo TV Amaranto Channel will cover all of Tuscany, broadcasting the regional final of the Arezzo Wave Contest, an event that promises to capture the attention of music enthusiasts from all over the region.
On 18 July Arezzowave will land in Cortona, where, as part of the “Cortona on the Move” festival, “Cortona on the Wave” will be held. Curated by Arezzo Wave, this event will see the participation of artists such as Francesco Lettieri, La Municipale, Zueno and Rumba de Bodas. The initiative is carried out thanks to the Per Chi Crea project of Siae and the Italian Ministry of Culture
Arezzo Wave’s musical summer will end on August 18th in Stockholm with “Arezzo Wave in Stockholm, Big Mama”, an event that is part of the prestigious Stockholm Kulture Festival in the Swedish capital.
Furthermore, the Arezzo Wave Italia Foundation announces that the final of the contest dedicated to Fabrizio De André is being prepared, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his death. More details will be communicated shortly.
