Trackhouse made a strong appearance in MotoGP and immediately wanted to provide its two riders with the best possible equipment and the truth is that, after Miguel Oliveira, Raúl Fernández should also have the latest version of the Aprilia RS-GP 2024 in his possession.
If it was known that it would only be a matter of time, a desire demonstrated from the beginning by Justin Marks’ team, and with the Spaniard having already had the chance to test the bike, it seems that the Silverstone round could be the first with the new bike, or at least that’s the rider’s hope.
During the last tests in Mugello this month, Fernández tested the bike again and said afterwards that everything suggests he will have it in the future: ‘I will have the new bike at Silverstone, 90%. They are seeing if they can give me the bike there,” he said.
Number 25 is the only one of the four Aprilia riders who is still racing the 2023 model, but that could change and in the latest tests he has already gained ground in his adaptation: ‘The idea was to try to understand the bike and prepare the bike for Silverstone,’ he concluded.
The Silverstone round takes place from 2 to 4 August, and before that there are still the Dutch and German GPs.
