VICENZA – Furious argument in Viale Milano between a man and a woman: the police intervene. Her father had reported her missing

Around midnight, a crew from the police station intervened in Viale Milano in Vicenza, where an ongoing argument had been reported between a man and a woman who were fighting.

Once on site, the police identified a man of Tunisian origin and an Italian woman, both homeless. The argument broke out because the woman accused the man of stealing her smartphone, an accusation that the man categorically denied.

After checking, the smartphone was not found in the possession of either of the two contenders. Furthermore, both said they did not need healthcare or medical treatment.

During a more in-depth check, it emerged that the woman, born in 1996 and originally from the province of Padua, had moved away from home in the previous weeks, so much so that her father had reported her missing.

The police contacted the woman’s father by telephone, informing him that she had been found in Vicenza in the circumstances described above. In the meantime, the young woman was taken to the police station for the notification of judicial documents relating to an ongoing proceeding against her.

The father, having taken note of the voluntary removal of his adult daughter, declared that in the next few days he would withdraw the missing person report.
