The fire broke out shortly after 11pm in the company’s warehouse DS Smith Recycling. The company is located in the area of via Caduti del Lavoro near the Mirum Center, Baraccola area of ​​Ancona.

As a precaution they were three families evacuated who live in a building near the company.

The intervention of the firefighters was complicated: after the fire broke out, some explosions perhaps deriving from cylinders or other flammable materials present in the shed.

Four fire brigade teams were on site and intervened with a fire engine and other means to try to avoid the incident damage to other parts of the company and to buildings in the surrounding area.

They are not registered at the moment wounded or intoxicated and there were no particular problems with traffic on the Ss16.

In the warehouse of the company where the fire broke out, it appears there were stocks stored there eco-balls, paper, cardboard and ferrous material. In addition to the firefighters, the police also intervened on site.

They don’t know each other at the moment the causes of the fire which the firefighters contained after approximately three hours of work.

Once the flames are completely extinguished, the fire will begin investigations to understand what started the fire.

Yesterday another warehouse also went up in flames and generated a black cloud which frightened the residents of the area, in that case from the Borgo di Aversa.
