Italy comes to Wimbledon with nine players in the top 100 in the world and 15 in the Top 150 in the PIF ATP Rankings, the ranking based on the best results in the last 52 weeks. Flavio Cobolli is celebrating, as he improves his best ranking to number 48.

Cobolli is one of the seven Italian players in the top 60 positions of the ATP ranking: a record shared with a power like the United States. But it is even more significant that all five Italians in the top 50 are between 22 and 23 years old, an age range in which only two of the US Top 50 fall.

Jannik Sinner remains number 1, confident of remaining at the top of the rankings even after Wimbledon, regardless of how the Championships go.

As for the movements of the week, there is only one change in the Top 20, the entry of Alejandro Tabilo who won his first title on grass in Mallorca. Tabilo, the only player together with Taylor Fritz to have played at least one final on all surfaces (hard, clay, grass) this year, overtakes Nicolas Jarry by one position. Chile thus boasts two players in the Top 20 for the first time since 2005 (Gonzalez, Massu).

In addition to Cobolli, best ranking among the Top 100 also for Alex Michelsen (55, +7), the youngest American in the Top 200; the Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (58, +1). In the Top 100, the one who gained the most positions was the Australian Max Purcell, finalist in Eastbourne, defeated by Taylor Fritz. Thanks to this result he increased his ranking by 26 positions (n.68).
