The release of My Hero Academia 430, the last chapter of the work of Horikoshi and it is unlikely that, in the last 5 remaining chapters, the author will give space to several heroes who played a non-protagonist role in the final battle. The spoilers on My Hero Academia 426 have teased an ending for the Todoroki, but have also indirectly confirmed that, once again, we will not find Deku’s other classmates at the center of the scene like Kirishima and Yaoyorozu.
Furthermore also Kaminari, Iida and Jiro they have not had the chance to emerge within the most recent chapters and the time available to the mangaka to give them a worthy closure is starting to run out.
They may not have been as important in the economy of the story as the trio made up of Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki, but they nevertheless contributed to the final victory and the growth of team spirit that was key to taking down All For One.
Iida and Kirishima then, respectively in the Stain arc and the Shie Hassaikai arceven had some notable moments of glory, which seemed to lay the foundations for a brighter future for the two characters which, unfortunately, never came to fruition.
If at the beginning of My Hero Academia this immense roster of characters might have seemed like a valuelater turned into a flaw, as much of the characterization of the students in Class 1-A was ignored or sidelined.
Anyway, let’s see what will happen from chapter 427 to 430 and we hope to be pleasantly surprised by the skillful pen of Kohei Horikoshi.
