Viterbo – Drunk man threatens to kill a restaurateur in the city centre.
Fear on Tuesday evening in Piazza delle Erbe, at the Tre Re restaurant. The peace of the historic restaurant in Viterbo was disturbed by a man in an obvious state of inebriation.
According to what has been reconstructed, the man attempted several times to occupy one of the tables, sitting down, smoking and continuing to consume alcohol, disturbing the customers.
The owners tried to push him away and invite him to sit on a bench, explaining that the tables were booked, but without success.
At that point the man allegedly began to rail against the owners, threatening one of them with death: “I’ll kill you… I’m coming to rob you”, he allegedly said.
The intervention of police cars was necessary twice, but the man managed to escape.
The owners of the Tre Re restaurant are exasperated, like many other citizens of the centre, who see these scenes repeating themselves continuously, making them feel unsafe. “You can’t work like this” explains one of the restaurateurs.
According to some testimonies, the same man also created disturbances in Piazza del Comune.
