COSENZA – In recent days, the staff of the flying squad of the Cosenza police station have a 22 year old young man arrested, with specific precedents, for the crime referred to in art. 73 Presidential Decree 309/1990.
A phone call made to single emergency number reported, in an area notoriously dedicated to drug dealing, a person armed with a large knife, who wandered through the streets of the neighborhood, threatening anyone he met on the street. The officers intercepted the subject without the reported knife, already known to these offices, who at the sight of the operators he went into meltdownza, railing against the police. A 118 medical unit previously alerted by the residents of the neighborhood was also on site. The young man, in a clear state of psychophysical alteration, was transported to the local hospital for specialist advice.
This was done a house search, where a block of narcotic substance of the type was found near the house hashish, of approximately 70 grams, a precision scale and material suitable for packaging. For the facts set out above, the man was arrested in flagrante delicto for possession of a narcotic substance for the purpose of dealing and, upon order of the public prosecutor on duty, subjected to the precautionary measure of house arrestthose awaiting trial. Following the hearing to validate the arrest, he was subjected to the obligation to report to the police.
