Last night, the State Police of Prato reported a man of Romanian nationality to freedom, as responsible for the crimes of causing alarm and resisting a public official.

In detail, it was almost midnight when a man called the operations center, reporting that he lived in via del Molinaccio, asking for the immediate intervention of a police squad to stop him before he started shooting. Waiting for the particularity of the report, two police squads and other crews of police engaged in another service rushed to the scene without delay and having taken the necessary precautions, they went to the accommodation in question, where the door was opened by a man, holding a gun in his hand, always pointing towards the floor, the who was promptly disarmed, without offering any resistance.

After a short time the mother arrived, also present in the accommodation, who reported that the man was her son, later identified as a 40-year-old Romanian, convicted for various crimes, including domestic abuse and possession of weapons, adding that he had abused alcoholic beverages during the previous evening.

The weapon in question appeared to be a compressed air pistol, freely available, held and brandished without the red cap. During the accompaniment phases to the police station, the man assumed a hostile and threatening attitude towards the operators, trying, without success, to hit them, with a display of provocative attitudes.

Once at the office, following the manifested psychophysical conditions, an 118 ambulance was called to the site for any health checks, which was also requested by the author of the episodes himself, who, once it arrived, explicitly refused any medical treatment.

At the end of the investigations, the Romanian citizen was reported for the crimes of causing alarm and resisting a public official.
