Acetaia Sereni believes a lot in the US market. So much so that in the last two years it has invested in the USA both with many promotional initiatives, starting with tasting dinners in the most important American restaurants, and by creating a parallel American company, precisely to make quality balsamic vinegar known to consumers too. Americans.

One of the strategic moments of promotion is precisely the Fancy Food of New York City, scheduled at the Javits Center from 23 to 25 June, where the company from Marano sul Panaro (Mo) will be one of the protagonists with the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena Dop and other local products.

«It is a strategic fair where our country represents one of the main attractions for operators and for the public who always participate in search of products linked to the territory because even the experiential part now represents an added value – he explains Francesco Serenisales and quality manager of the family company – this is why we have been participating for several years now and also in this edition we will be in the Italian space close to the great Made in Italy products”.

The aim of Acetaia Sereni is not only to bring Balsamic Vinegar all over the world but also to promote a real product culturemoving away from evaluations linked only to the theme of aging to stimulate the analysis and evaluation of other aspects, less known but certainly fascinating, which intervene in an important way in the production process: from the grape variety chosen to the position and pedoclimatic characteristics of the vineyard from which the grapes come from, up to the cooking times and methods or the type of barrels used in terms of quality, type of wood and capacity.

The company directly cultivates 25 hectares of Lambrusco Grasparossa and Trebbiano vineyards, native vines, in the land of the estate on the hills ofUpper Modenaat 350 meters above sea level and far from any type of environmental pollution, from which it obtains the must to start the various productions on site.

Precisely at the New York event the company will also talk about the other aspect linked to production, that is, the incoming and tasting activity in the company thanks to a scenic barrel room and tasting in the overview glazed terrace overlooking the hillsand refined cuisine restaurant (60 seats) attached to the neighbor company farm (which also has 5 rooms). ORhospitality which brings around 7 thousand visitors to the company per year and which sees an important prospect for the future in the American tourist market.

This year the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City is in its 68th year. The event has evolved over the years and has contributed to the promotion of food culture made in Italy to fans across the United States. Today, the Specialty Food Association brings together thousands of food producers and tens of thousands of participants in the Summer Fancy Food Show every year. «So much so that New York is one of the most important events in the sector, a lively annual gathering of specialty food producers, buyers, intermediaries and more to celebrate flavor, innovation and community», concludes Francesco Sereni.
