“From today I ask the Prime Minister just one question: when will you release the 6 billion euros for the benefit of the citizens of Campania? Point. The rest is useless chatter”. The governor of Campania said it in Arzano, Vincenzo De Luca. “We have been fighting for a year to unlock the development and cohesion funds. 6 billion euros from the Campania region. This distribution was made on August 3 last year. We would have had a year to open the construction sites. But since we have a totally inefficient and inconclusive government with some cunning in terms of political discrimination, we have wasted a year. We were right – explains De Luca – at the Administrative Court of Campania, we were right at the Council of State and they still haven’t decided to sign the cohesion agreement that the Campania Region sent to Rome on 11 October 2023.” They are, adds the governor of Campania, “6 billion euros blocked by the national government which at the moment talks about everything, except the concrete things that need to be talked about. It was a year of wasted time. However, we will arrive at the end of June hoping that they will at least respect the sentences of the Council of State”.
