According to the investigation by the prosecutor’s office Benevento, the sexual violence allegedly occurred during visits to which the cardiologist’s patients underwent. The prosecutor introduced himself as a colleague of the doctor so as not to arouse suspicion.
“With the active participation of the companion, qualified as a colleague of the cardiologist, during apparent cardiological medical visits he realized highly intrusive acts in the sexual freedom of unsuspecting patients” reads the act with which the two were placed under house arrest.

Both the prosecutor and the cardiologist accused of raping the latter’s patients are currently subjected to preventive precautionary measures pending trial, at the House arrest.
