Crotone, bathing ban: ordinance revoked

Having seen its ordinance no. 192 of 06.13.2024 with which the
bathing in the spots:

  1. Lido Tricoli – ID IT018101010007;
  2. In front of the Cemetery – ID IT018101010009.
    Having seen the note from ARPACAL – Provincial Department of Crotone, dated 06.19.2024, prot. 20974, with which the results of the analyzes carried out in Crotone on 06/18/2024 were transmitted…….. “… from the analyzes carried out on the sea water sample taken in Crotone on 26 June last, non-compliance was found for Escherichia coli parameter with a value higher than that required by current legislation, at the following monitoring station”:
    Considered, therefore, in light of the above, it is possible to revoke the bathing ban established by ordinance no. 192 of 06.13.2024 in the stretches of coastline indicated below:
  3. Lido Tricoli – ID IT018101010007;
  4. In front of the Cemetery – ID IT018101010009.
    Also deemed not to be necessary to proceed with the communication of initiation of the procedure pursuant to art. 7 of law no. 241/90 given the necessity and urgency of the ordinance issued to protect public health;
    Seen:
  • Legislative Decree 30 May 2008, n.116 and in particular art. 5, paragraph b); – the Ministerial Decree of 30 March 2010;
  • the art. 50 of Legislative Decree 267/2000;
  • the Municipal Statute; ORDER
    To lift the temporary bathing ban n. 192 of 06.13.2024 relating to the areas called Lido Tricoli and Di Vicemitero, on the basis of the favorable analytical results communicated by ARPACAL.
    HAS
  1. to notify this ordinance to all concessionaires of the bathing establishments of the stretches of beach affected by the health and hygiene inconvenience;
  2. to transmit this provision to the following bodies and bodies, within their respective jurisdiction:
    ● Ministry of Health
    ● Crotone Prefecture – Territorial Government Office;
    ● Calabria Region – Environment and Territory Department;
    ● Arpacal – Provincial Department of Crotone;
    ● Asp Crotone – Environmental Hygiene Department;
    ● State Property Agency Regional Directorate of Calabria;
    ● Crotone Harbor Master’s Office and other law enforcement agencies;
    ● Local Police Command
    An appeal against this provision is permitted to the Calabria TAR within 60 days of publication on the municipal noticeboard and an extraordinary appeal to the President of the Republic within 120 days starting from the date of publication.
