It was around 5.30pm yesterday when the victim, a 36-year-old local woman, in a clear state of agitation and with clear signs of beatings and bruises on her body, showed up at the local Carabinieri station to file a complaint against her ex-boyfriend. who had hit her shortly before.

While the woman was telling the police what had happened, the man, a 37-year-old local man, arrived at the barracks in a clear state of agitation and began to rail against the woman in a vain attempt to make her desist from reporting.

Immediately blocked by the military personnel, he was taken and isolated in another office of the barracks to allow the woman to complete the report.

The woman told the police that she had known the man for about 15 years and that since April of this year she had started a romantic relationship with him.

During the complaint, the victim specified that the man, from the beginning of their relationship, had had morbid and obsessive attitudes towards her which later resulted in physical attacks that were never reported which had, however, led her to end the relationship. .

Yesterday, when she met her ex-boyfriend to give him back his mobile phone, he broke into her car and started biting and slapping her.

Having managed to free herself, she then went to the Carabinieri station in Aversa to report the facts.

The arrested man was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
