PESCARA – The final exams for 526 thousand Italian students begin this morning (10,652 from Abruzzo). From 8.30 the first Italian test: 7 tracks and 6 hours to do it.
Throughout Italy, 526,317 students are interested, 512,530 internal and 13,787 external, who will be examined by 14,072 commissions, for a total of 28,038 classes. The highest number of candidates comes from high schools (266,057), followed by those from technical institutes (172,504) and students from professional institutes (87,756).
In Abruzzo there are 10,652 candidates for the high school leaving exams, of which 10,401 internal and 251 external for 599 classes (169 in the province of Chieti, 133 in that of L’Aquila, 162 in that of Pescara, 135 in that of Teramo), divided into 158 locations of exam. According to data from the regional school office, just over 3 thousand examinees are expected in the province of Chieti (2,995 internal and 80 external). In the L’Aquila area 2,294 high school graduates will take the exam (33 private students), while in the provinces of Pescara and Teramo the candidates are, respectively, 2,986 (78 private students) and 2,297 (60 private students). The exam centers are divided as follows: 50 in the province of Chieti, 38 in that of L’Aquila, 37 in that of Pescara, 33 in that of Teramo. The highest number of commissions is also concentrated in the province of Chieti 85, followed by the provinces of Pescara (81), Teramo (68) and L’Aquila (67).
