Moreno Ferrari organizes a conference on the ownership of money

LENDINARA (Rovigo) – The new municipal councilor Moreno Ferrari organizes a conference on the theme: “Money owned by the bearer” for Friday 28 June, in the civic hall of the building named after Carlo Bagno (“Ex Pescheria”).

Moreno, famous for his environmental battles but not only, he now joins the “Money Rebels” movement, a movement inspired by the thought of Prof Giacinto Auriti maintains that money should be the property of the community and not of bankers who use it at will to buy the world.

He will participate Francesca Salvador, who organized a conference in Rome months ago to present a bill in three articles on monetary sovereignty. There will be also Mauro Dresses who, with others, argues that the ownership of money is the key to destroying the international monetary system by creating collective slavery based on debt.

With the end of the Bretton Woods agreements in 1971 at the hands of American President Richard Nixon, the promoters claim, the gold reserve was abolished with the result that today the currency has a conventional value that no longer respects the equivalent of what it represented in the past. But if money is a real good subject to property rights, this property can only belong to the citizens. It follows, as Prof Auriti stated, the abolition of tax law, since money serves public utility purposes. Unfortunately, the ownership of the currency lies with the Central Bank rather than the State which should instead reclaim monetary sovereignty. It should be the Head of State who signs the paper money, avoiding what Ezra Pound said: “Today the politician is the banker’s valet”. In short, a significant conceptual revolution is being proposed. For those who want to find out more, the appointment is at 8.30pm on Friday 28 June at the Ex Pescheria in Lendinara.
