The Technical Office of Gran Sasso Acqua SpA. informs that, in relation to the urgent repair work on the aqueduct in San Giuliano, in the municipality of L’Aquila (AQ), it is necessary to interrupt the water supply, in the time slot between 8.30am and 7.00pm of the day Tuesday 25 June 2024. As a result of the interruption, water supply will be suspended in the upper areas of the Coppito and San Giuliano hamlets and in particular in the “CASE Project” town of Coppito and in the area of the Convent of San Giuliano. They will be affected by the repair, but will not be affected by the water shut-off, as the volumes accumulated in the tanks should also guarantee their continuity in the following localities: Coppito, Cansatessa, Pettino, L’Aquila Città, Sassa Scalo, Pagliare di Sassa, Cese di Preturo, Casa Circondariale delle “Costarelle”, CASE Project of Cese di Preturo, CASE Project of Sassa NIS, CASE Project of Pagliare, Palombaia of Tornimparte, Rocca Santo Stefano of Tornimparte, Madonna della Strada of Tornimparte. Only in the event of unforeseen events during the repair work could water interruptions occur in these locations.
