Bologna, 18 June 2024 – A splendid combination of music, art and nature that links different places in the plain and theTuscan-Romagna Apennines. This is the meaning of the review ‘The River Runs Through It’, a festival curated by Luisa Cottifogli arrived at 5th edition and which is part of the program of events of ‘Bologna Summer 2024’. We’re talking about 80 artistsdivided into 24 appointments which take place in 12 different municipalities. The event is ad free entrykicks off on the weekend of June 29th and 30th and continues with the various appointments until September 1st.
The Festival
The fifth edition of ‘A river runs through it’ begins the weekend of Saturday 29 And Sunday 30, with two days full of events. It’s scheduled for SaturdayIndeed, “An evening on the Calanques”the concert of Celtic bagpipes Of Marco Tadolini And Matteo Riminiwith the collaboration of Oni Wytars And They drink Eastto Casalfiumanese.
The following evening a double date is scheduled Vicchio in Belvedere, in the municipality of Castel del Rio: to the hiking visit to old mill driven by Corrado Arienti will be followed by country concert of the Bolognese violinist Enrico Guerzoniformer artistic collaborator of Renato Zero, Franco Battiato, Bobby Mc Ferrin, Lucio Dalla and Vinicio Capossela.
It will be only the first of the musical events of the festival, on July 6th there will be the voice of Luisa Cottifogli in the frame of one Valsellustra artfully set up with installations by Decio Zoffolithe following Saturday Pieve di Camaggiore (Firenzuola) will have the Breton harpist Marianne Gubri as its protagonist, who will lead spectators on a renamed sound journey “Sounding Nature”. On Friday 19 July in Sassoleone, however, the eagerly awaited participation of Moonshine Brothersthe stage name of the group of Raffello, Bruno and Gianni Stefanini, lovers of the genre Bluegrass. To conclude the rich offer of the program two night outings: Tuesday 9 July a San Martino in Pedriolo walk in the company ofImola Amateur Astronomers Association and the pianist Caterina Criscione and the saxophonist Ambra Zotti which will brighten the evening of Sillaro Valley. Finally, on Sunday 4 August we will follow the path that leads from the Valsellustra restaurant to the village of Sant’Andreaaccompanied by the astronomer Angel Adam.
