ANCONA – The Marche Region pumps community funds into the business system, hoping to revitalize an economy which – according to the latest Bank of Italy report – lost momentum in 2023, with a regional product that grew in real terms by 0.6% percent, less than in Italy (0.9%). An intervention, the Marche Region recalls, already implemented in recent years, allowing the birth of over 1,800 new businesses, thanks to the use of Por Fse 2014-2020 resources for over 49 million euros. “The purpose – explains Councilor Aguzzi – is to support, with a contribution of 20,000 euros, the birth of new entrepreneurial realities, including professional studios, by unemployed people. This contributes to the development and diversification of some production and service sectors, as well as to the increase in employment levels”.
The resources allocated for 2025 and 2026, equal to 14 million euros, come from the PR Marche FSE+ 2021-2027 funds, which allocate a total of 25 million euros to support business creation. Of these, 7 million have already been used for the 2024 year, supporting the birth of 773 new businesses.
Individuals who have been unemployed for at least 6 months, registered with the CPI of the Marche Region and residents, aged between 18 and 65, and who present a business project to be implemented after submitting the contribution application on the Notice can apply for the contribution. of implementation, with the opening of a sole proprietorship, a company or a professional studio.
Applications can only be submitted via the Siform2 computer system at the internet address https://siform2.regione.marche.it. The implementation notice, which will be published shortly, will specify the deadlines for submitting applications and access requirements. From a report on the state of implementation of community policies, which the council will soon present to the Regional Council, emerges the effort to accelerate the use of ERDF funds, the European Regional Development Fund, which in the previous programming had seen the Marche region significantly behind . Part of the 579,983,288 euros allocated by Brussels between 2014 and 2020 was moved to the complementary operational program and thanks to this transfer, 3925 projects were financed and the resources disbursed amounted to 479 million. As for the 2021/2027 programming, out of the total ERDF ceiling of 585,685,326 euros, the activated resources amount to 304,818,546 euros and those granted to 150,968,234 euros.
