The Aula Magna of the “Youth Center” of the Diocese of Avellino hosted an organized conference
by the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Avellino, focused on the theme “The contrast of
predatory crime and interlocution with the Judicial Authority”.

The event saw the participation of important institutional and judicial figures. Present the Prefect
of Avellino Rossana Riflesso and the Prosecutor of the Republic of Benevento Aldo
Policastro, received by the Provincial Commander, Colonel Domenico Albanese, who opened the
conference.

Among the speakers, the Deputy Prosecutor at the Court of Avellino, Francesco Raffaele
(assisted by Maria Cristina Gerosolima, Head of News Offices of
Crime, and by Alberto Spagnuolo, Judicial Assistant), Stefania Bianco, Deputy
Prosecutor at the Court of Benevento, and Lt. Col. Amedeo Consales, Commander of the
Operations Department of the Avellino Carabinieri.

The conference represents the first of a series of meetings planned between the Carabinieri and the Authorities
Judicial, aimed at outlining effective strategies for combating predatory crimes, in particular
Watch out for home burglaries. This type of crime has a significant impact on perception
of citizen safety and its prevention is a priority for the police.

During the meeting, the importance of collaboration and discussion between the various competent authorities was underlined to ensure timely and coordinated interventions.

The objective is to create a solid and well-organised network that can deal more effectively with the phenomenon of predatory crime, while ensuring safety and tranquility for citizens.
The Commanders of the 7 Companies and the 67 dependent Stations, as well as, took part in the event
to the officers and personnel of the Avellino Forestry Carabinieri Group, under the command of Col.
Fernando Sileo, with its 15 forestry units, and the Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate Unit.
This broad participation testifies to the collective commitment of the Carabinieri of the Command
Provincial of Avellino in fighting crime and protecting Irpinia.

The initiative marks an important step towards increasingly close and fruitful collaboration between
the Carabinieri and the Judicial Authority, aimed at guaranteeing a prompt and effective response to
crime, thus strengthening citizens’ trust in institutions.
