The Summer Dance Festival, the open-air cinema, ballroom dancing at the casoncello festival in Castro and more. There are various initiatives organized in the Bergamo area on the evening of Tuesday 18 June.

Here are the appointments.

BERGAMO

Tonight at 7.30pm Daste event space, in Bergamo, a new appointment with the Danza Estate festival will be held. The Ruth Childs company (CH) will bring the show “Blast!” to the stage, in its national premiere.

Tonight at 8.45pm Conca Verde Cinemain Bergamo, the film “Suntan” will be shown, version in original language with Italian subtitles.
The initiative is part of the program of the “Discover the diversity – Europe Best Cinema” exhibition.

Tonight at 9.30pmSanta Lucia Arenain Bergamo, the film “Natural primer” will be shown.

Tonight at 9.30pm at the Summer Arena Exterior Nightin Bergamo, the film “L’odio” will be shown.

PROVINCE

Until 8 September 2024 ad Albino the summer “Spritz & Burger” is back. It is a chiringuito on the banks of the Serio river, directly on the Val Seriana cycle/pedestrian path.
You can drink excellent cocktails and eat burgers, grilled meat specialties, pizzas and more.
There will be no shortage of live music and festivals.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 7pm to 10.30pm; Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 2.30pm and from 6.30pm to 11pm.

Until June 23rd at Spazio Phase, ad Alzano Lombardothe “Original Bier Fest” beer festival is back, with live music, beer and Bavarian specialties.
The program includes:
– Tuesday 18 Young Wannabe – Nuclear Tactical Penguins Tribute;
– Wednesday 19 NH orchestra;
– Thursday 20 Ligastory – Ligabue tribute;
– Friday 21st 90’s Back + DJ set;
– Saturday 22nd Sismica cover, Reggaeton, Dance, Latin, Pop;
– Sunday 23rd Merqury band – Quuen Tribute.
All evenings will have free entry.

Until June 23rd Castro the “Casoncello Festival” continues. The initiative, now in its 22nd edition, as can be seen from the name, has as its main dish the typical stuffed pasta from Bergamo, rich in tradition and flavors linked to the territory.
In addition to the quality of the food, the festival is becoming increasingly “eco-friendly”: the service, in fact, is carried out with ceramic and steel catering crockery, the water is served in glass containers and the plastic used is biodegradable and compostable .
The refreshment service will be active every day in the “Castro Beach” party area from 7.30 pm.
In the two weekends of the Casoncello Festival, Canottieri Lovere will propose the Casoncello in Vikinga, while on Monday, Wednesday and Friday it will be possible to enjoy the Casoncelli in Kayak.

Tonight from 8pm to 9pm in Piazza della Repubblica a Nembro the “Zumba Fitness” initiative will be held, with Enrique from Fit4Fun.

Tonight at 8.30pm at Gramsci park Martinengo a new appointment will be held with the exhibition “The library in the park”. The reading “Summer Adventures” will be proposed, for the public aged 3 and up.
Bring a blanket to sit on the grass.
In case of bad weather the event will be cancelled.

Tonight at 8.45pm at the Lemine Foundation Auditorium, ad At least San Bartolomeoa meeting will be held entitled “Aspects of philanthropy, philately and phylogenesis in the world of ancient carpets”.
The terms philanthropy, philately, and phylogeny have a sound that refers to the threads that make up the carpets but belong to a semantic field apparently devoid of relations with them. However, they lend themselves to providing a pretext to delve into aspects generally overlooked in the literature relating to carpets and introduce parallels with scientific fields that are certainly very distant.
The initiative falls within the scope of “My ancient Persia – Cycle of encounters between carpets, gardens, art, travel, food”. The cost for participation in a single meeting is €5.00 (for the entire cycle, excluding dinner, €20.00), to be paid on site.

Tonight at 8.45pm in the library garden of Bottanuco the author Paolo Riceputi will present his book “Controluce”.
In case of bad weather the meeting will be held in the library.

Tonight at 9pm at the GAN headquarters, in via Case Sparse Saletti a Nembrothere will be a presentation of the book “Sette Viaggi”, by Ginetto Bergamelli.
