Pavia – Per the murder of Ibrahim Mansourforty-four year old Egyptian killed in January 2023 Cassolnovothe public prosecutor Andrea Zanoncelli asked for the thirty-year prison sentence for Antonio and Claudio Rondinelli it’s at sixteen years of imprisonment for Carmela Calabrese. The hearing was postponed to June 24 for defense arguments. Antonio Rondinelli, sixty-five years old, is the father of Claudio, forty years old, and husband of Calabrese, fifty-six years old.
The family is facing the hearing and for father and son the charge is voluntary homicide while for the woman of complicity in murder. In fact, according to the reconstruction of the accusation, the crime would have been decided during a meeting between the family members organized by Calabrese, who would not then have taken a material part in the killing of the offended party unlike, according to the accusations, however, Antonio and Claudio Rondinelli, who in a previous hearing heard during the examination of the accused had declared themselves innocent.
Particularly the son in the classroom he had denied any involvement by pointing out that he had not been present at the scene of the crime and that he was being detained unjustly, a few moments of tension had been created, so much so that the session was suspended. Mansour was found charred in his car in the Morsella hamlet of Vigevano on 14 January last year. The investigations led to the discovery that he had instead been killed by gunfire, specifically both a pistol and a rifle, in Cassolnovo.
The motive would be of economic nature, the victim allegedly made several requests to the family and apparently had the intention of requesting sole custody of the daughter he had had years earlier from another relative of the defendants. Massimo Rondinelli, thirty-five years old, son and brother of the defendants, was sentenced to nineteen years in January for the crime.
Massimo Rondinelli he had confessed to having taken part in the crime. Another suspect, the partner of another daughter and sister of the defendants, had instead been accused of concealing a corpse and in January had made a request for a plea bargain to one year and eight months in prison. He too had testified during the trial, reconstructing the details of the crime that he explained in the courtroom to him by those allegedly involved.
