According to The Arena today, the agent of Lorenzo Montipò, Maria Alberto Fontana, would have spoken with Adriano Galliani to bring him to Monza. A destination that would be very welcome to the La Scala goalkeeper. Montipò was decisive in the last season but with some unsuccessful moves, his contract expires next season. With him the club would like to retrace what happened with Marco Silvestri.
The contract renewal cannot be very high and, after three great years, it is natural that the goalkeeper asks for something more. If he remains in the yellow-blue team, via NL says, he will have to do so with great motivation, otherwise it is better to part ways. Monza has not yet decided who will replace Michele Di Gregorio but the chances that it will be Lorenzo Montipò are high. At the moment, however, the manager Sogliano does not seem to have too many worries about the role given the many alternatives on the market for a team that must fight to save itself.
Two Spanish companies, however, are keeping up to date on the Montipò situation. They are Rayo Vallecano and Betis Seville. Different situations, with Rayo saving himself at the end. Betis, on the other hand, could sign two goalkeepers and Montipò is one of the names being evaluated, again with a view to the future. Montipò, however, would prefer to remain in Italy.
